How I start each and every day
Updated: Jun 25, 2020

Everyone says: Eat your breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day.
I say, eat when you are hungry.
~ I start each day with a green juice. •1 whole organic celery, •1 lemon
•1 lime
•3 green apples
•Ginger
"Adenosine accumulates in the brain throughout the day and starts slowing down brain activity."
☕️Followed by an almond milk coffee with @greenleafvitality CBD, alternating between decaf and regular to avoid dependency. Yes, coffee is addictive. -
Caffeine is similar in molecular structure to adenosine - a naturally occurring neurochemical.
Adenosine accumulates in the brain throughout the day and starts slowing down brain activity. More Adenosine = more fatigue/ more relaxed.
However, because caffeine and adenosine are so similar in structure the caffeine binds to the receptors in our brain, preventing the accumulation of#adenosinethroughout the day.
This is why more ☕️ = more 🏃🏼 -
However over time, the more coffee you drink, the more your brain produces adenosine and the more coffee you need to stay awake.
Ever felt a massive migraine after skipping your cuppa?
🧘🏼♀️I then do an intention/goal setting and an hour yoga session followed by a massive breaky.
🍽 By this time, I am starving hungry!!!
My standard breaky is 2 slices of rye toast, 1/2 avo, 2 free range soft poached eggs, chili , hymalayn salt, cracked black pepper. Sometime I add exotic tomatoes add shiitake mushrooms- great immune booster and inflammation fighter.
🍌If I am still hungry (which I often am 😊) I share an açaí bowl or whip up a banana bowl like this to share with Sam.
Gluten free, no added sugar, no dairy.
It’s super easy to eat clean, whole and healthy. Healthy living isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon.
